Are bank statements required for family visas?
I do have bank statement from UAE and 2 months from Qatar...do I have to get the bank statement stamped by the bank in UAE??

Plz update me...or just a salary certificate is enough..I do have all the other attested documents ready with me.

Then can I bring them on visit visa and then apply after 1 month for converting the visit visa to residence permit ? By then I will have 3 months bank statement easily.

Please be informed that the salary transfer is a must to acquire the family visa. And minimum 3 months statement required from a local bank.

The purpose of bank statement for family visa approval is to ascertain whether you are consistently drawing enough salary to maintain a family here in Qatar. So, I think, logically the UAE bank statement will not serve the purpose. As far as I know you need at least 3 months bank statement from a local bank to be eligible.
