my son was out of Doha since January 2008 but he has valid family visa until July 2011 were planning to bring him back here Qatar!on April 2011 do i need to pay something?please advice thank u very much...
it has nothing to do with his family visa. If his RP is expired (6 months of his absence), he won't be allowed in Qatar. You have to issue new family visa for him, and then new RP.
as i knew that people out of the country for more than six months the residency visa is authomatically cancelled (means person not allowed to enter) but, if there's a valid reason for staying out of this country. like illness, delivery,etc... with proof, then you can ask the immigration for that. or else, you have no choice but to cancel the visa officially from main immigration and apply for new one.all rules applied.

you should have brought your son before every 6 months to renew the visa. If not, you will have to pay a fine of QAR 10/- per day. !
so it would be around 10,000 QR in total !!
