ADVISED REGARDING EXPIRED VISA
can anyone advise me...my visa(under company sposor,i resigned from work last october 2008) is expired this december 2008,i am leaving qatar this dec 28,2008,my question is:
1. can i re enter qatar under family visit visa????w/out
NOC from my previous sponsor???
2. how can i cancel my RP?
If your last visa is valid, you can not come with any other visa.working visa only employer can cancel or govt can.after ending your visa count 2 years(not from time of dept.) then you can come on any visa.
after entering family visit if you want another job it need noc from your old employer.
You will need NOC from your former sponsor to get a new visa and enter Qatar....Check it with your new sponsor..
Your employer has all the obligations to sent you home and cancel your working visa before it will expires, BUT YOU HAVE TO REMIND THEM TOO, to avoid any problem.
Regarding your 2nd question; I think you can enter with different kind of visa even without NOC but you will find it difficult to be issued another working visa if you are eyeing for another position in different company.
