2 YEAR BAN - URGENT ADVISE IS REQUIRED
Hi, I'm Jojo, i have been living in Qatar last five years. Actually i came here in a Visa arranged by my friend and it was a Permanent visa under his shop sponsorship. Almost one year i worked with him then i found a new job in a company and joined with them and started to work with them. Two years completely i worked with them in my own visa without changing and almost one and half years before i just changed the visa to the company. Now i am planning to leave the company, so i wanted to know is there any law that is permitting me to ask for a Visa release/change from my current company because i locally recruited and changed my Visa to this company..
Or else if i go to Dubai after cancelling Qatar Visa with a permanent Residents permit and the position is Assistant Sales Manager will i able to get a VISA ON ARRIVAL in Qatar Airport? if so how long i can stay? i heard its allowing to stay up to 3 months then if i go back to Dubai then the next day can i come back by the same way? Means can i continuously stay in Qatar by using the Visa on arrival facility? The company i am going to work in Dubai is having a branch in Qatar so is it possible to continue like this for the next two years? till my Qatar Ban finish?
Any Ideas how can i extend GCC Visa on Arrival, for another 3 months without exiting the country?
Hello,
If your company is sponsoring you and they have a branch in Doha, you can enter on your UAE residency renew the visa every month paying QR.100, for up to 2 or 3 months and you exit and do the same again.
Even if you have a ban, you can enter Qatar on any GCC residency.
YES YOU CAN COME ON BUSINESS VISIT VISA
Jojo,
Shaaz is right. As long as you have a UAE or any GCC RP, you can enter Qatar on a visa-on-arrival. You entry is based on your profession stated in you RP (it should qualify for the visa as per the listed 108 categories) and not your nationality. Yes, there are some nationalities who are exempted from this categorization but lets be concerned with what applies to us.
Tinkerbell, although Jojo has not stated it quite clearly...:)...I think what he intends in this case is to cancel his existing Qatar visa, obtain a UAE visa and then enter Qatar (cos he mentioned that his company is based in Dubai with a branch in Qatar and that he will cancel his Qatar RP).
You will not be able to change and have the VISA for the new company until you have the NOC from the existing sponsor.
You can choose the option of having a Dubai Visa and profession as Asst Sales Manager and then you can have an on arrival visa in Qatar . which you can extend and stay 3months , everytime. Though to work this way is illegal many are doing this . Also Indians with GCC resident visa do not have any problem in obtaining on arrival visa in Qatar . Tinkerball , please note this...
No NOC , No job change.
Quit job + no NOC = stay out of Qatar for two years.
