Begs the question, just how are the authorities monitoring (or ensuring?) the halal status of all the food stuff being imported into Qatar. I see most a lot of goods on sale are without any halal certification logos.
I understand that by default all food is halal unless there is a "haram" ingredient or method mixed in the preparation. But can we say that everything on sale here can be considered halal?
