I have never seen anything like this before. Both Qataris and non Qataris queued on the road like they were waiting for world celebrities! And indeed celebrities last night were victorious national football team bringing home the most covoted award... The AFC Cup! All the roads leading to corniche and Souq Waqif were jam packed, with hundreds of children and adults popping out of their sun roofs waiving the national flag. There were many different rallies on the road! Giant flags rally and motor bikes rally were highly noticeable!
Proud of Qatar for its humble and noble reaction on this historic win, as His Highness the Emir has dedicated the cup to all of the Middle-East despite the unjust sanctions against this country.
Proud of you Qatari team for fighting so valiantly and with dignity and most of all for crushing the arrogance of hostile nations!
