Zam Zam is holy water and while people returning from Makkah and Medinah bring it along with them to share with their families and friends, they used to be available in Qatar before the current political situation developed. On another important note, the correct and official spelling of the name of the city is "Makkah" and not Mecca. There is a difference between the two spellings -- and it is a major one.
