Robin: well i wouldn't call it being greedy; the site has been great for its users and it has remained free for us to use; even the ads you and i post are free; its only natural that companies would like to use ql's popularity to reach new customers and i see nothing wrong with ql making as much money off them as possible haha; it pays the bills while keeping the site free for its users. Do you like free stuff? I sure do :-)
But the issue is with hiding the advertisement in an article with a misleading clickbait headline, making us read till the end only to find we've wasted our time; that's really not ethical journalism and its just insulting the readership's intelligence and just not done. They usually are very clear when its a paid promotion of those fancy hotels or brunches or even cars recently; don't know why the slyness this time haha.
Say its an ad and honestly mention the insurer in the headline and more people will actually want to know more about the company in case their services are needed. Honest and upfront communication will win the day over sly underhand mindgames everytime.
Sorry for the rant QL; keep it going keep it up keep it real like you've been all these years :-)
