Now, coming to your issue. While I am not en expert on such matters, I suggest you take the matter to the National Human Rights Committee. They may be able to help you. Possibly, they may call your HR personnel. From my point of view, I see that to be a solution to help you get out of this situation and be able to go home. But before you go over to NHRC, seek the help of your embassy first. They could guide you better on this.
