One of the several common infant development questions we hear from parents and teachers is how to support kids learn how to tie their shoes! Although this task is very essential if your child attends school outside of the home, it is also very necessary for their self-aid/adaptive development. Here are some favorite method – awesome for kids who are grappling with grasping and supporting the laces:
Lexical Instructions:
* Grab your laces then make an X.
* Place the top lace under and into the hole.
* Pull tight to make a knob.
* Now you will redo.
* Grab your laces and make an X.
* Place the top lace under and into the hole.
* Now drag just far enough to make or leave a little circle.
* Leave the laces.
* Take one lace and set the end in the circle.
* Pull it through till there is just a little loop left on top.
* Now get the other lace.
* Put the end into the circle and pull till there is just a small loop left on top.
* Now hold both loops and drag it tight.
* Great job!!
