dikard: the answer is in your question; its all political games; the ordinary citizens should not be involved or made to pay for their governments' decisions; as an expat, i'm extremely proud of qatar that we have not fallen to the blockading countries' level and made their citizens in qatar pay in any way; there are many wonderful egyptian people living peacefully with their innocent families here and i hope this blockade will in no way harm them or their livelihoods ameen; i feel qatar should add insult to injury to the saudis, emiratis and bahrainis by granting qatari citizenship/permanent residency to those husbands/wives/families that have been separated by the blockading countries cruel decision to expel qataris and recall their own nationals from qatar; i have lived in every single gulf country and had a soft spot for each one but their decision to make the ordinary innocent families pay for their silly political games has made me lose a lot of affection for the blockading members...
