akinsamoi: the government is just trying to protect parents from being legally bound and exploited by these schools because they know the nature of these schools and their operators who have very recently flocked to qatar to cash in on the helpless expat parents; insisting on immediate payments is just the school being greedy and i can imagine how these newer schools, especially the Indian ones are operating, with greed and money being the only motives; also, if you had to borrow money for fees, you are either not making enough to maintain a family here or are not setting aside enough for your key cost centers; its all none of my business but the truth is her school expenses are only going to increase much more as she grows older and the schools will milk you even more so you need to factor in all this for the future rather than finding out one fine day that you cant afford her education here and then just sending her back home to continue there; children need stability and routine when they're younger so yeah, that's my main point ...wish you luck with these schools, i hate them...
