i used to struggle a lot with road rage; not that i expect anyone to move out of my way or that I'm the best driver (I'm still very good though haha) or that i think im more important than others; i just can't stand careless and selfish drivers when I'm trying to follow the rules and be considerate of other people who i share the road with; but I'm now actively trying to not let myself get affected and have found religion very helpful in this process; when i narrowly avoid an accident, i tell myself that allah saved me from the other driver's carelessness, the accident didn't happen and so there's no point being angry afterwards; and when someone drives selfishly or recklessly, i try to forgive them because Allah forgives us our sins in return plus being forgiving is an act of worship; I'm not saying all this to boast; its in the hope that some other short tempered driver like me may read and benefit from this approach that has been very helpful for me and reduced my stress levels :-) be safe on the roads guys may Allah protect us all :-)
