qatardel01: You may be having your own way of looking at things based on the little information you have. Your very first post on this subject just reflected the venom you have in your bloodstream against Pakistan. Everything looks different from a distance. And then there is the media which presents things the people in your country want to hear it. On the ground, the truth is that Pakistan has faced the most number of terrorist attacks over the past decade than any country in the world. These attacks have killed and maimed thousands not just civilians but also military personnel. Why was Pakistan targeted? It was simply because the country sided with the US when the American forces moved into Afghanistan. Pakistan was the corridor for moving US arms and equipment to Afghanistan. The country paid a heavy price for this act and is still continuing to do so. The problem is that the US quickly forgets all this country has done in the past as an ally. With the arrival of Trump & party, a change of wind has taken place, and this country which has been a US ally for decades, is now being portrayed in a negative way.
Pakistan stayed at the receiving end of terrorists for several decades when it was just the police, paramilitary and the intelligence who were facing and fighting them. However, things took a turn when terrorists attacked a school in Peshawar killing scores of innocent children. Even Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi condemned the heinous attack. It was then the Pakistan army moved in with full force killing the terrorists, destroying their hideouts, telecommunication network and their infrastructure. This too came at a cost as hundreds of military personnel sacrificed their lives fighting the terrorists. Finding Pakistan a difficult place to carry out their activities further, most of the terrorist ran away and are said to have taken sanctuary in Afghanistan. There are hardly any terrorist activity now in the country.
I do not care what some world leaders say about Pakistan as they have their own motives.
What I have stated above on terrorism in Pakistan are based on ground realities. As for your statement that Pakistani taxi drivers in your country present themselves as Indians, I do not believe it to be true. I am proud of my nationality and am respected by many nationals here on being so.
