Qatar is seeing big silver lining in the current crisis as it is moving fast on its international import and investment diversification plan away off the GCC countries.
Imports from Turkey, Iran, India and China are gradually replacing the imports from Saudia and UAE which a phenomena is set to harm them immensely if they continue their embargo on Qatar.
Another important element that is biting them back is the stoppage of Qatari investments in those countries, mainly in the real estates and joint ventures. While many Qatari investors are interested to off load their existing investments, new Qatari investments are set to go to elsewhere like Europe and America.
If this crisis continues for a long period, then the embargo countries will loose off the potential Qatari support to their economies thus putting more strain and pressure on their already falling economies.
And given the above, now the pressure is going back on them instead of Qatar therefore they would have no choice but to come quickly on the table, to find a quick solution to their own faulty and hasty embargo
misadventure.
