@ shafqat: You're going off on a tangent; a muslim and in fact all human beings should like for others what they like for themselves; but your point has nothing to do with mine and if you're implying I'm being hypocritical, then you are clueless and need to improve your comprehension skills...yes, we all waste food...do you knock on all our doors and take our surplus food and send it to the poor? Do you have the guts to tell someone they're wasteful with their food? My point was strictly about the 56 tonnes of food that was destroyed only because it was not good enough to sell in a hypermarket to well off customers and charge them money for it...but that doesn't mean it wasn't good enough to feed to some poor skin and bones child in Africa whose only meal is a rare bowl of rice water...sorry if I was a little gruff but it is annoying when you don't even bother to see where I'm coming from and get on your high horse about double standards and hypocrisy...
