There are several things employers look for in an applicant's CV. They are interested in your work-history and how you have contributed to the development, growth and profit of previous companies you had worked for earlier. They look for the number of years of service you have. They look at your education level but if you have over a decade of experience in your field or work, this requirement sometimes becomes flexible. Certain fields of work demand good communication skills and employers search for these skills. Some employers do look at the age of an applicant as some jobs are just for young people especially those involving much physical work. Breaks in a person's working career need to be explained in the CV. In Qatar, since obtaining a driving license is now a bit difficult, having one is nowadays a plus point.
These are just some of the points and of course there are many others.
