for those interested in knowing...
pilots are under immense pressure from airlines...
especially low cost airlines...
a delayed landing or a reroute costs the airline huge money...
like, really huge money...
the gulf carriers are rich and put safety first...
but other carriers try at all costs to land the plane....
the air controller put the plane in a holding pattern/loop for 2.5 hours in the hope the weather would improve...
all other flights went to another airport but this one risked it and paid the price...
hope the investigation is over soon; they've found the black boxes...
i'm no expert, not trying to be a smartass, just love planes and aviation and sharing what i learned from this amazing nat geo series called 'aircrash investogation'...you guys should watch one of the episodes on youtube; its amazing you wont be able to stop watching...have fun everyone...
