I have moved in to a flat in February 2011 at Fareej Abdul Aziz. Previous owner settled his Kahramaa and handed over to land lord. The land lord was settled the final payment by April 2011 and ask me to change in my name. I have registered in my name in Kahramaa by April 2011 and last December I have applied for disconnection while vacating the flat. It was told me that the water meter was not running and I have to pay QR150.00 / month and for 4 years. I have shocked and checked with land lord's office and they told they cannot do anything. The problem was with previous 2 owners. They were seeing the problem and not reported to Kahramaa (including land lord). I paid around 6K and I told the land lord about this and informed to new owner who came to the flat. Hope someone will take action. I am sharing this and advise to oversee the bill amount and meter reading for every bill. If it repeats please complaint to Kahramaa. As per Kahramaa that is our responsibility. Thanks.
