I am trying to get my wife resident visa, the new policy is to get your residence contract attested by Ministry of Muncipality. When I tried that I was asked to deposit a registration fee of 2400 QR ( 1% of the annual house rent + 1% for late registration). I just want attestation, why do I have to register? I tried to argue but they don't seem / want to understand... Can anyone please help me what to do?
