Mary Catherine: Any adult who could place such a post at QL should definitely be having the basic knowledge of first aid on how to handle such situations. However, if a person was of a very sensitive nature or had any doubts of infection, he would not have waited to post such a problem at QL and then wait for hours for answers from QLers most of whom are laymen and not qualified physicians. He would have rushed to Hamad Hospital or the nearest clinic near his residence. I guess you failed to understand the "real" meaning behind this post. The other people who posted their comments did.
