Tony Blair failed to spell the word "tomorrow" twice in a short letter and wrote the word as "toomorrow." In 1992 when a school pupil wrote the word "potato" on the blackboard, the US Vice President who was visiting the school was appalled and quickly corrected it to "potatoe!" English is their "native language."
