You know Leigh, the sad thing is that this type of thing happens day in/day out, on large and small scales and there seems to be absolutely no recourse.
I understand how frustrating it is. A dry cleaner totally ruined a Qr5000 suit and then blamed me! It is now useless. After months of complaining, phoning, visiting, shouting, begging, and the rest, I eventually realised you are dealing with a pretend country and pretend companies operated by numpties. I can't wait to get back to the real world...
I am also disgusted as the above comment by another moving company trying to drum up business on the back of your situation, instead of offering any useful advise about who to contact to solve your problem.
