i was reported once for blocking what i thought was an old abandoned car..it was actually a regularly used but never washed car haha..saw the violation online next day..now i still do it but stay in my car..and hey abul kashim, they never show up for such reports...they only take the car number and your phone number...how do you know he wasn't fined? I reported a Qatari once near bank street because his parked car had completely blocked traffic..and a few days later I did get a call from the police asking me to come and testify, because the Qatari was fighting the fine and wanted to know why it had been issued; needless to say, he was pretty rude to me but in the end my testimony stood. Also, the Qatari/wasta system does exist but more often than not, you'll see the law is fair in most cases; I have been in these situations 3 times and was given justice each time; not saying i'll never encounter a bad scene and be in trouble for no reason, but it hasn't happened yet. Hopefully it won't happen in future too, because depending on how sleepy I am, I'll probably fight and get in even more trouble lol
