Though I don't favour luxury cooking etc but no one knows what is in their hearts. As long as they are helping poor and needy daily/monthly/annually , its alright to enjoy their living. Back home it is an old tradition to share iftar among relatives and neighbours excluding the charities and donations.
However "Israaf ( Extravagence ) , Numaish ( Show off ) are big Sins in Islam.
The Holy Quran says,
"…and eat and drink and be not extravagant; surely He does not love the extravagant."
(Surah Araaf 7:31)
