i think it is really simple.. yes expat need to respect laws of the country we live in.. but if Qatar is to become an internatially reknown business hub then it needs to become a bit more tolerant of other cultures...
it is really simple... you dont like clothing.. don't look at it... and nobody forces muslims to not wear their traditional dresses in the west.. so why should Arabic state force expats.. clothing is a personal choice.. it is up to the wearer not up to the viewer... i would alsodefend muslim clothing in the west... the way I am defending expat's right to wear lighter clothing.. andthen where do you draw a line... as you start controlling other people lives... I think private life and personal choice are important to people
