The most important responsibility of parents is to make children feel loved, safe, and secure. If what they say say or do is contrary to making them(kids) self-differentiated, affirmed, and unconditionally loved, parents should avoid doing it. Children should always be treated with respect. They're a blank slate. It's easy to model bad behaviors, but if parents could (take it upon themselves to learn and then) model good ones, then they set them up for a lifetime of healthy relationships.Really good topic,Yas. :)
