No one is hurrying with Doha Airport. It's been finished for the last few months. All we are waiting for is for the authorities to decide on an appropriate day to commence services. The work, in the words of the project manager is "virtually complete". He also says "The client would need to decide when they want to open it but it will be ready any time they wish to do that.” (This is from Sept 2013.)
Whether the airport is opened today or in June or next year, it won't make any difference to the quality - the airport has already been built.
