About the sugar level, dates come with a lot of sugar…..hence it is very rich in carbohydrates, which translates to fat. Dates are pretty similar to bananas because these fruits are highly dense fruits…when you eat them, you don’t feel hungry anymore. When I say highly dense, I mean they’ve got low water content, unlike water melons and apple.

I do recommend dates for very high activity levels like marathon running or beyond, but outside of these situations I don't believe they are an ideal food for everyday eating, Because you can actually gain weight from them.

Dates are sweet and juicy, and sometimes when you start, its like you can’t stop eating it. Be careful, because when you start eating one, then you take 2, then 10….then 100.

It’s very easy to overeat on dates…Dates are beautiful, and they taste very good, once in a while have them, but not everyday.
