A small question to make, however. Why would you choose to go for a multimedia career when I find you having worked with Networking sector. If you believe have, I would say, a basic network knowledge, you may opt for an advanced networking course such as Cisco(my recommendation), Juniper or HP certifications. These markets are on boom. And having a hypothetical assumption that you are on Qatar, you may very well notice that the larger companies such as Ooredoo, QP and other big institution, at one point or another, might require their network to be large/broad/diversified with time. And with this, your career can boom up. Assuming you have the 'solid' network foundation, as in, a good knowledge of how routing/switching works, you can then jump forward learning advanced topics as traffic Engineering, shaping and teleco BGP architecture.
Also, I won't miss the fact that you can then proceed learning with Network Security, provided it shall interest you in due time, and learn of modern firewalling techniques(NGFw), learn Cisco ASA, Check Point, Palo Alto and stuffs.
