Some people are talking about acer tablet in this thread , nexus is one of the widly popular acer thread and yes it's pure android.
most of the android tab (like nexus7) has micro usb slot and they can be use with pen drive, mouse and keyboard but it can't be used for usb dongle for internet. The problem is in drivers.
