I would go for ASUS - they relatively cheaper and works the same. I had XPS Dell before and it only lasted a year before it went BSOD on me. I would stay away from Dell unless I've been proven otherwise.
Currently, I have MSI Dragon but then I rather think of it as a portable desktop than a laptop. So, unless you are a hardcore gamer that travels a lot, I would skip that one but MSI produces one of the best motherboard out there in the market, so keep that in mind when selecting your Laptop.
