Here is the core strategy for prudent investment in stocks:

1. See the overall index level, is it at peak point as compared to its previous history (two/three years ago. Do not investment if current level is higher and vice versa.

2. Do not buy for quick selling purpose

3. Buy only low value yet high potential stocks for long term gain. e.g. Vodafone stock, its original price is Qar. 10, whereas its current is lesser than it (Qar. 9). Buy 10,000 shares and hold it for three years when its price is expected to be Qar. 50 owing its huge potential and patronage by the Govt as well as customers.

4. Other than the above never enter the stock trading business, as it can ruin your savings.
