In the Hebrew old testament which is the Torah, the Jewish addressed their God as Yahweh but some Jewish now use the word G-d, that is God without using the o which I don't really understand why.. Some also use the word Hashem. As for the Christians, the new testament the bible which was originally written in Greek, the word used for God is Theos..
