He's been re-arrested and Morocco rescinded his pardon and sacked the prisons chief. Democracy at work, sort of.

In my view pardoning prisoners is always wrong. People in jail are put there because they have committed a crime. Why the outrage about releasing a pedophile, but not, for instance, a murderer, or rapist, or bank robber?

If you did the crime, you do the time. Simple.
