they aren't contravening any rules..in fact the powers that be, have always encouraged at least some religious programming on UK channels as opposed to it being completely stopped..and regardless of what the muslims or anyone else has as dedicated channels; the intention here, as you acknowledged, is to encourage inclusiveness in society and is a nod to the millions of normal Muslims who live as honest, upright and contributing members of UK society.
