Brit, One of my Australian colleague's father, a patient of Alzhiemer's, became so insane that he gradually withdrew all his savings from the bank, stuffed the Aussie dollars rolled inside empty beer cans and buried the cans in his kitchen garden when nobody was around!

No one knew where the money had dissapeared and he forgot as well.

I really fear this kind of insanity in people suffering from this disease...and I tell you my father also had similar thoughts. He didnt have beer cans with him but he would always tell my mom to withdraw all money from the bank and keep at home. He said he was afraid the bank people will spend all his money!!
