Yes, I agree. I am not at all advocating domestic voilence but things are really difficult for men who, on one hand do not want to go for divorce because of their limited financial status and on the other, cannot bear the nags any longer.

I guess, things should be resolved by the two. Your perception is yours and does not necessarily mean would be good for every household in the long run. Its a gray area and should be treated on a case to case basis by the two themselves.
