True....If u consider the changes in Qatar lately there r more opportunities now a day to co-mingle with the opposite sex....school, work, hang out spots, tourist attractions, shopping malls, bars etc...all these were either segregated or didn't exist at all...Obviously women being allowed to drive is a MAJOR factor too...I know it's a bit strange than I'm talkin about things that should be considered basic human rights, but I can't deny that before the 2000s none of this existed in Doha...It's our current president that initiated all the positive change.
Never the less I do know that arranged marriages do exist among certain tribes in Qatar, mostly not based in Doha...Unfortunately
