You have a few options.
As Bubba said you can disconnect the negative terminal of the battery. This will erase all codes stored in your engine computer. If your check engine light does not come on again after that things may be ok. If it does come back then the computer is telling you there is a problem.
You can go to the Jeep Dealer (Almana). It may be a bit pricy. They should be able read the active and inactive trouble codes with repair solutions very quickly.

Your local repair garage can also read the active and inactive diagnostic trouble codes if he has an automotive scan tool to communicate with the engine control module. The down side is he may not be up to speed on your vehicle. The upside is you will have a personal and direct contact with the repairman.
