Hi all, I read with interest the above thread. I have been offered an unsolicited TEFL job with the school under very odd circumstances. Just an email exchange, no interview and a requested early arrival. However the school logo is different from that on the website and the email address suffix is a gmail account (very suspicious). It is required that all immigration and visa costs are paid by the applicant up front and I suspect it may be a con to pocket advance payments. I have emailed the proper school email account and await a response.

Has anyone heard of such a scam?

I hope those that expected their tickets/visas are now safely at work in the school.

Mik
