tahsinmim - IMO death penalty iss too light a punishment. There is an ongoing debate in India regarding Chemical Castration for such heinous crimes. I believe there are scholars who are debating this with the people who matter and as a general rule, should be applied for all Rape cases.

Instances of severe abuse leading to death, like in this case, must include chemical castration and hanging both.
