As soon as you start looking for accommodation , a decent 1 BHK apartment at an average location will cost you no less than 3000 Qatari Riyals (Furnished almost decent ones , not lavish , not posh just an average apartment , that too if you are lucky , you might find it -- I couldn't) , then there are shared apartments where in 2 families share an apartment like in a 2BHK you will get 1 Bed room 1 Kitchen and 1 Bathroom , this may cost at least 2000 Riyals-- But it is a shared one. That's kind of minimum .
Travelling to and fro office , going out on weekend just to a Mall or grocery shopping ) -- Minimum 600 Riyals
For a Family of 2 Food Expenses Monthly--- 1000 Riyals
Internet (if you need it) Monthly --- 250 Riyals
Water and Electricity Monthly --- 150 Riyals
Cell Phone --- Minimum 50 Riyals (if you call ) else no money
So maximum that you can save per month would be around 4000 - 5000 Riyals
That is around 60 - 75 K Indian Rupees per month
There is no tax that you have to pay here on your income. So all this money is yours.
But remember one thing , if you think you will come to Qatar and work for a while and then look for a better job , that might not be possible , Cuz Qatar has some strict employment rules , so it may happen that you will never be able to change your Job while in Qatar. (Just consider this fact)
Once you reach here you may see people with similar expertise and experience earning 2 or 3 times more than what you will be earning.
Life in India is better if you are working in your hometown and have your family , friends relatives around.
Here you might save 60K a month but you only get to go home once a year.
Overall 60K INR saving is not bad , but it is not great if you are already saving 35 - 40 K while working in India.
