Money does bring happiness in todays world but the relationship follows more or less the law of diminishing returns, as we study in economics that is applicable for any other product.

Also, happiness is not proportional to the measure of money a person has...its somewhat related to the cash flow or the rate of increase of his bank balance or his personal assets. As soon as a billionaire stops earning money or earns relatively less in a given period, he actually becomes sad!!
