ok regardless of any mistakes/omissions by the victim/her family, that is a truly shameful (i wish to use some obscenities but will not) failure by the medical establishment. it is a black mark on the glitzy, shiny facade of supposedly forward looking and modern countries.

i usually stick up for the gulf countries when fellow expats criticise things here; but I do believe this would not have happened in the UK or the US..i once got this swelling on my tailbone in the UK, woke up with intense pain next morning..walked into the nearest A&E..the nurse only asked what the scene was, noticed my tear filled eyes and they immediately had me admitted, treated and on my way home within no time..free of charge..not to mention the kind district nurse who visited me for a month at home to repack my wounds till i was all good and new..i still feel grateful i was in the uk when that happened..

Mimi says this is the scene in Qatar too; if so, then these guys need a priority check too..the malls and metro can wait; please first reach a level where a woman can have a baby when she's ready to..seriously, poor lady/mom..bless the dear soul
