I never mentioned the word "Arabs" I never said anything about the land belonging to Arabs...I said it belonged to "Palestinians"
If u go back in history u'll find that in that very same area and pre-dating Jesus himself were some of the original settlers of that land...called the Phillistines according to the bible, I personally recall a reference in Genesis 10 amongs other references. Those phillistines amongs other tribes and many many immigrants over thousands of yrs form the "locals of the land" regardless of what they used to worship, regardless of what they worship today, regardless of whether they r now mixed with Arab blood or simply just use Arabic as a mother tongue, and regardless of who invaded them and when....they r amongs the "locals of the land"
The fact that they were rules by Arabs, or Ottomans or Brits or Israelies, or any other entity of power doesnt change that they r locals of the land who have known no other land, they r not immigrants who migrated to it for personal gain.
Having said that and recalling as u said that the British have at some point controlled it, and like any other country which fell under the British rule, once independent, was handed over to the locals...., the GCC countries, India, u name it all of them had a transfer of power over to the locals.....I repeat the locals, not the Arabs, not the Muslims, not the Jews, not the Christians, the only condition for independence was that it was handed over to local rule....did that happen in this land...NO....yet the UN recognized it as such!!!
Now these phillistines who actually come in several religious backgrounds and several races were awaiting that decision at the time, they didnt care who ruled them, as long as they ruled themselves...the locals....instead the land was handed over to holocaust and wwII syrvivors who were basically immigrants!!! The land itself had Jewish phillistines....it was not handed over to local jews, no it was handed over to immigrants.....And it was purely "as stated at the time" to solve the on-going problem of all these immigrants travelling all over Europe and being a burden on their governments who had to offer a helping hand but couldnt or didnt want to spend the money....so then the Land "whatever u wanna call it" became "indepndent" and simply handed over to immigrants who never even lived on that land!!! Some have never even set a foot in there!!!
Thus out of all the groups fighting for power in that land now....the locals....the phillistines r coming dead last!!! And the immigrants who were not locals r in power today
