I have not noticed this happening with ladies from asian or western countries. Only when the lady is wearing an abaya, people tend to hesitate taking the lift along with her.

Does this mean men here respect the abaya instead of the person? Or are they afraid of the local ladies that a single complaint from them would land any expatriate behind bars and finally get deported?
