For those who claim that Islam and/or Muslims are not condemning this demonic act then know that the Prophet Himself said " "Whoever kills a person (non Muslim)who is under an agreement or treaty (with the Muslims), he will not smell the fragrance of Paradise, even though it's fragrance can be found from the distance of 40 years away." And "Allaah has forbidden for him paradise"
Note today all non Muslims living in Muslim lands, as well as those non Muslims living in Non Muslim governed countries who are not at war with any Muslim lands, are all considered under treaties with Muslims. So unless it's a case where they are given a capital punishment by the state for crimes like murder and rape, killing a Muslim or non Muslim is forbidden..period!
Not just that, considering that the late ambassador and the other two men killed with him were given protection by the Muslim leaders of the land, the following saying of the Prophet also applies.:
And the Prophet (صلى الله عليه وسلم) said:
"The assurance of protection of the Muslims is one, so whoever betrays the assurance of protection and safety of another Muslim, then upon him is the curse of Allaah, and (the curse) of the Angels, and (the curse) of all the people."
So no one can ever claim that what those individuals did(the heartless killing of the US ambassador) was right or just.
As one student of Islamic knowledge in Kuwait wrote,in an excellent article condemning these attacks and killings carried out by the protesters, "the prophet cannot be defended by oppression and misguidance"
Whilst what the filmmaker and his cronies did was instigating and disgusting to say the least, their actions, as Non Muslims, would not have saddened the Prophet as much the evil and mayhem the so called Muslims did would! Ultimately if nothing else one thing positive did come out of this film, it showed some of us Muslims how important gaining knowledge is, so when faced with trials we would know how to react and not just give into our emotions and commit acts of sin and oppression.
