This is a country driven by Oil and having an entire career with oil industry until recently I can say there have been research papers submitted quite regularly by the geologists, chemists, maintenance crew, drilling and seismic crew, well logging, wireline and of similar professionals on the extraction techniques, tool design, mud design etc. in the earlier companies I worked with.

I just hope the executives arent considered as workers...:)
