Hi, i confirmed this issue myself from Immigration Officers last 17 September when i renewed my Mother's family visit visa.

Immediate family - parents, wife, husband, brother and sister - still 6 months

Grandparents, uncle, auntie, cousins and so on - reduced to 3 months
